Austin New Home Market hits New Record Sales
Austin new home market new record fast sales as less inventory pushed monthly sales lower. The new homes report is based on data from the Austin Board of REALTORS Multiple Listing Service, North Texas Real Estate Information Systems, Houston Association of REALTORS, and San Antonio Board of REALTORS.
The new report shows home sales set a record pace in June of 2021. The three-month moving average for Days on Market in Austin dropped to just 38 days. This is the lowest average number of days for a new home to be on the market for sale in Austin since the site began tracking data in 2017.
For an even greater deal you can find home prices in the $200,000 range in Lockhart, Giddings, Elgin, La Grange, and Burnet. These are a little bit further from Austin City Limits than the previous mentions but the price of the homes reflect that.
